Winter Wedding Menu with Beaumont Catering Company

Beaumont Catering Company was recently voted #1 Texas caterer by Texas Meetings Magazine! We are fortunate to get a little winter wedding menu advice from owners Christi Nash & Holly Chance. Book your next event with Beaumont Catering... hurry, their calendar stays full!
When choosing your winter wedding menu selections one thing should stand out: warmth. Hearty soups that can be served as an appetizer or first course. A great example is Cream of tomato soup shooters served with mini grilled cheese sandwiches
Try a salad of butter lettuce with fresh grapes and feta cheese with a champagne vinigrette. A great entree that has wonderful eye appeal and easy on the wallet would be a braised pork with pears in a port wine reduction. Greet your guests with warm coffee or hot chocolate as soon as they come in the ceremony or reception site. For a twist on traditional beverage options, consider offering your guests drinks like Irish coffee, or anything warm and creamy. Rich flavors should also carry over to dessert. Think dark chocolate cake with a cherry or raspberry filling. If holiday cookies are a family tradition, include cookie trays as well as the wedding cake. Consider a snowglobe as a cake topper. In the movies, everyone seems to get married in June. But a winter wedding can be terribly glamorous, cinematic and magical. With the right elements, your winter wedding will be a wonderland. ~~~
