As of September 2008, the state of Texas passed a new law that waives the $60 marriage license fee & 72-hour waiting period to all couples to complete an approved premarital education course. Our state has a new project called "Twogether in Texas" which coordinates free premarital workshops. To find out the nearest Twogether in Texas approved workshop, call 211.
